Victor Flores A.K.A: V Flors

Victor Flores is a record producer, songwriter and entrepreneur.

Victor Flores was born in Los Angeles, California, but has spent most of his life in Mexico. He was fortunate to grow up surrounded by good music. His earliest childhood memories have music in the background: The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson were always listened to at home. Pop music strongly influenced his development and marked every stage and transition in his musical experience in life.

He starts playing the piano at the age of 7 by mere intuition. To Victor, it always seemed like a beautiful instrument, a complex piece of machinery that demands respect if you want to master it. Over the years, his brother, Luciano, was the one who had the desire to play the guitar, and Victor was fascinated. He fell in love with the music of Led Zeppelin and Stone Temple Pilots.

They had an almost hypnotic effect on him, sparking his desire to play the guitar with total mastery. He saved enough money, and with the help of his parents and uncles, he bought his first electric guitar. From that moment on, he never stopped; he wanted to make music. Victor has always been hungry for knowledge and thought his best option would be to study music professionally: Berklee College of Music.

He traveled to Boston and wrote a smooth jazz song inspired by Paul Jackson Jr. They accepted him. It was a delighting moment since they usually only take 20% of the applicants.

Around 2009, Victor was in his second semester of the Business Creation and Development degree at Tec de Monterrey, Guadalajara campus. Berklee was out of his reach; he decided to finish studying for his degree, but his dream was his dream with music was far from over.

In April 2009, Victor started with his friend and partner, José Luis Jaramillo. They started their own recording studio: Godspeed Records. Godspeed became a source of inspiration for them and local musicians in Guadalajara, México. They realized that music production gives you a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction that is second to none; it sparks any musician's inner fire. He started making songs almost obsessively, and Victor released his first Victor the Band album in 2016, titled "Growth". He later released "Mexico" in 2018 with songs about his love for life and his hometown.

For V Flors, music makes life magical. It gives a sublime meaning to the mundane, and it shakes our being with a depth that has no logical explanation. It makes us understand that the true essence of our being is intangible, vibration, sound. He has recorded many records and songs for local bands and his own projects. He has collaborated with top producers: Javier Blake, Erik Canales, Pablo Preciado, Paolo Stefanoni, Güido Laris, and artists: Allison, Say Ocean, Los Chotgun, and Matisse Reik and more.
